1. Introduction

MediPure Products, Inc. (“we”, “our”) operates www.medipure.net to collect personal information from individuals who register for our webinars or engage with our health‑education content. This Privacy Policy describes:

  • How and what personal data we collect;

  • The purposes for which we collect and use data;

  • How we share or disclose personal data;

  • California consumer privacy rights under CalOPPA, CCPA, and CPRA; and

  • Our handling of HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI), if applicable.

We comply with California privacy laws and the Meta/Lead‑Ads requirement that a privacy policy be clearly accessible to users—especially in the language of the ad ([turn1view0] Usercentrics, Sep 2024) and allow opt‑outs where required.

2. Notice at Collection (Required under CCPA/CPRA) {#notice-at-collection}

Earlier notice is provided at or before the point where personal information is collected, including binary short versions above forms or within lead‑ad disclaimers.

At the full policy level, the “Notice at Collection” is anchored here, and should be linked directly.

Notice at Collection Short Version (for immediate display)

“Your name and email will be used to register you for our webinar, send reminders, and (unless you opt‑out) show you relevant ads on Facebook/Meta and Google. We do not sell your information or share it outside authorized ad partners. You can ‘Do Not Sell or Share’ or limit use of your health info. For more details, see our Privacy Policy here.” (Originates from CPRA §â€¯7001(q), implemented per 18 CCR §â€¯999.305(a)(2)(c)) [turn4view0], and formatted in simple, digestible language [turn0search0].

Content Requirements per CPRA

At collection, the notice must clearly state:

  1. Categories of personal information collected (e.g. name, email, health survey, IP/device metadata)

  2. Purposes of use (webinar, reminders, analytics, ad targeting)

  3. Whether information is sold or shared (we do not sell; we may share for remarketing)

  4. Data retention period (18 months)

  5. Link to ‘Do Not Sell or Share’ page and this Privacy Policy

The notice must be presented in language(s) the consumer understands—since MediPure communicates with users in both English and Spanish, CPRA rules require the Notice at Collection to be bilingual.

3. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following:

  • Identifiers: name, email (required), phone (optional)

  • Sensitive Health Data (CPRA SPI): health‑survey responses (e.g. on inflammation, fatigue)—only with your affirmative explicit consent, and used only to personalize content or session logistics

  • Internet/device data: IP address, browser, device model, referral URL, converted events captured via Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager

  • Webinar metadata: registration date, attendance status, webinar ID

4. How We Use Your Information

Your information may be used to:

  • Confirm and send webinar access or reminders

  • Answer questions or provide support

  • Send marketing content or promotions (unless you opt-out)

  • Measure and optimize funnel and ad performance

  • Serve remarketing and targeted ads via Meta and Google based on pixel events (unless opted-out)

  • Generate aggregated, anonymized statistics for internal analysis

Health survey data will only be used for educational or medical support and never for ad targeting unless you give explicit permission.

5. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not “sell” personal data as defined by CPRA. We never transfer your data to third‑party brokers for profit.

However, we may share data:

  • With Meta Platforms, Inc., to deliver lead‑ad forms, run remarketing campaigns, or build custom audiences—under strict processor/controller agreements

  • With service providers (e.g. GoHighLevel, Demio, ActiveCampaign, Zoom) acting strictly as data processors, under contract

  • With authorities as required by law

If you see ads on Meta/Google showing your submitted email, that qualifies as “sharing for cross‑context behavioral advertising”. You can opt‑out, and we’re required to suppress further use for 12 months.

6. Your Rights Under California Privacy Laws

As a California resident (or even if you operate in CA with our site), you have these rights under CPRA:

  1. Right to Know: which categories of personal information we have collected and shared

  2. Right to Delete: request removal of your personal data (subject to legal exceptions)

  3. Right to Opt‑Out: prevent us from sharing or selling data for targeted ads

  4. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: restrict further use of health data beyond scheduling or session support

  5. Right to Non‑Discrimination: exercising rights won’t affect the service you receive

To submit a request email info@medipure.net or call (310) 431‑4558. We’ll verify your identity and respond within 45 days (extension possible under applicable CPRA rules).

7. HIPAA & Health‑Related Information

If MediPure or our webinar platform is a “Covered Entity” under HIPAA:

  • Health data (PHI) will be governed under a Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP), which complies with HIPAA. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services provides model notices in English and Spanish.

  • We will deliver or make available a bilingual NPP upon request, explain your rights (e.g. to access, amendment, restriction), and honor those requests.

All PHI is segregated from ad-targeting systems and shared only with authorized staff or business associates under confidentiality obligations.

8. Cookies, Tracker Technologies & Ad Platforms

We use:

  • Meta Pixel: to track conversions and run personalized ads

  • Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager: to monitor traffic, optimize content, and measure ad ROI

CPRA does not require cookie consent banners, but the law does require honoring Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt‑out signals [turn5view0]. We currently support GPC signals and cancel ad‑sharing on‑the‑fly. If privacy‑consent preferences tools are added in the future, we can link them here.

9. Data Retention & Security

  • All lead and contact data is retained for a maximum of 18 months after last contact or activity, after which inactive records are permanently deleted.

  • Health‑survey data is also purged unless you request retention under HIPAA guidelines.

  • We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, including encryption, access control, staff training, and regular audits to protect both PII and PHI.

10. Children / Minors

Our services are intended for individuals 16 years and older. We do not refuse knowingly to collect data from minors under 16. If we learn we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, that data will be deleted immediately upon request.

11. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this policy if legal or business practices change. Major revisions will be communicated via email or a banner on the Site. The Effective Date will be clearly updated at the top.

12. Contact Information

13. “Do Not Sell or Share / Limit Use of Health Information” Page

A separate page should be hosted at /do-not-sell-or-share, providing:

  • A form or instructions to opt out of data sharing or sale

  • An option to limit use of Sensitive Personal Information (i.e. health survey data), in compliance with CPRA rights

  • A channel to request deletion of personal information

When a user opts out, we must suppress any data sharing with Meta or other ad platforms for at least 12 months.
