Recipe Highlights:

This smoothie is both refreshing and tasty. Orange juice provides the body with needed Vitamin C, while coconut helps lower cholesterol and boost the immune system. The real kicker here is the turmeric. Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and contains antioxidants. To get the best results (both flavor and health wise) use fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible.

Important Note – Phytotherapi’s weight loss or diabetes protocols use a specific Nutritional Guide.  If you’re currently undergoing those protocols, wait until after you’re done with the program before eating this meal. 

Ingredientes:

  1. 1 ½ C. Fresh Orange juice

  2. 2 Tb. Agave

  3. 1 C. Young Coconut meat

  4. 2 C. Coconut water

  5. 1Tb. Virgin Coconut butter, melted

  6. 1 tsp. turmeric

  7. 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  8. 1 C. ice

Directions:

Place the first 3 ingredients in a blender, process for 20 seconds or until smooth. Add the rest of ingredients in the order given, process again until smooth. Serves 2
