Wonderful melon smoothie
This smoothie is tart and contains some great probiotics (especially if you use the kefir) to help improve your immune and digestive health. The fruit used in this particular smoothie is vibrant and refreshing, making it a great snack any part of the day.
Important Note – Phytotherapi’s weight loss or diabetes protocols use a specific Nutritional Guide. If you’re currently undergoing those protocols, wait until after you’re done with the program before eating this smoothie.
Ingredients (1 – 2 servings):
1 1/2 cup watermelon, cut up
1 cup cantaloupe, cubed
1/2 cup of plain kefir or low fat yogurt
1/4 cup of fresh orange juice
1/2 cup of ice
Place the watermelon, cantaloupe, kefir (or yogurt) and orange juice in a blender. Blend for 30 seconds. Add the ice to the blender and blend for another 30 seconds. Serve and enjoy.
